In a major victory Dr Dinesh Chief Executive of NCUI could succeed in securing stalled fund for the apex cooperative from the Ministry. A cheque of Rs 9.35 cores is being sent to NCUI, said an upbeat Chief Executive to Indiancooperative.com.
Readers may recall that in the wake of Lecturer recruitment scam Ministry has expressed its displeasure and demanded pointed actions including cancellation of appointment of selected candidates.
After dilly dallying for a while NCUI did cancel appointment leading to thawing of relation between apex cooperative and the Ministry.
NCUI has also finalized the fresh advertisement and has sent the same for approval to the Ministry. Ministry is yet to respond on the matter.
But the cancellation has also thrown NCUI into unending legal wrangle. Those who were selected and had even joined their jobs knocked the door of court. Dates after dates are being given as the candidates are fighting it out in Delhi High Court.
