NCUI coaches Jhansi based multi-state on co-op entrepreneurship

The NCCE of NCUI recently organized a 3-day online Leadership Development Program exclusively for the newly formed Ramraja Multi State Agro cooperative Society, Jhansi (Uttar Pradesh) through Webex meetings.

The objective was to orient participants on the Cooperative Management and its legal norms and improve the business of the cooperative society.

Topics like Agri business entrepreneurship, Holistic organic farming Practice and value addition, Development of Cooperative business, Main Provisions of Multi-state Cooperative Society Act and Legal provisions of Cooperative Management were discussed during the meetings.

The training sessions were taken up by cooperative experts, faculties and co-op professionals. The classes were interactive and experts attended to all queries of the participants.

Addressing the trainees, Dr V.K. Dubey, Executive Director NCCE said the agriculture sector plays a very important role in providing quality food on remunerative prices and suggested that the society should make business plans for the upcoming years and review them from time to time.

 This program was attended by 15 participants of the society. Sanjay Gupta, chief promoter of the multi-state society expressed his thanks to NCCE for conducting this program.

The participants praised NCCE’s efforts for arranging the LDP that has generated awareness about the integrated efforts in the new multistate cooperative Society.
