The International Cooperative Day is being celebrated on 4th July by NCUI by organizing Children Painting contest at NCUI Auditorium Complex. The theme of the contest is no less interesting “Choose Cooperative, Choose Equality”.
ICA as well as the UNO celebrates International day of cooperatives on 1st Saturday of July every Year. On this occasion the ICA appeals to its member to promote cooperative movement and support their national and local cooperatives initiative by organizing events, talking part in lobbying, campaign etc.
The aim of the day is to strengthen cooperatives and extend partnership between International cooperative movement and other actors including the govt. at local, national as well as International level.
This year theme” Choose Cooperative, Choose Equality” highlights the core value of the cooperative movement i.e. by building cooperatives people all over the world have chosen a democratic model of business that fosters equality.
Theme of the Painting are Agriculture, Farming, Area , Nature, Environment, Local People and Family Through the painting, values so that children understand the importance of food that we need to live and teach the value of family, friendship & different communities.
