NCCE launches Diploma in Co-op Education & Development

A twelve week session of Diploma in Cooperative Education and Development was recently organized by National Centre for Cooperative Education for professionalization of employees of various cooperative organisations, at NCUI, New Delhi.

The 31 participants from different states like Telangana, Kerala, Manipur, Assam, Rajasthan, Delhi, West Bengal, Gujarat, Karnataka, Maharashtra and two neighboring countries i.e. Bangladesh and Nepal joined the diploma course.

The prime objective of the program is to improve the managerial skills so that they can provide professionalism in their organisations. The participants were provided a platform to interact with other participants and discussed the challenges and issues and their solutions for proper functioning of cooperative societies.

The program was inaugurated by President NCUI Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav M.P. Rajya Sabha. Mr. Robert Sing Kshetrimayum IAS Registrar of Cooperative Societies of Manipur state was the Chief Guest of this program and Ms. Jeena Potsangbam Vice Chairperson Manipur State Cooperative Union felicitated all the dignitaries on the dais.

Dr. V.K. Dubey Director NCCE welcomed all the dignitaries and talked about the importance of the diploma.

Speaking on the occasion, N. Satyanarayana Chief Executive NCUI said ” we can reduce the income disparity through cooperative.

Chief Guest Mr. Robert Sing Kshetrimayum IAS Registrar of Cooperative Societies of Manipur State said that Cooperative is the third force and it has huge potentiality to provide sustainable development. Cooperative gives job, prosperity, voice, confidence to the weaker communities.

Vice President NCUI Sh. G.H. Amin also present as a Guest of Honour said that it is great opportunity for the all participants to get a diploma certificate from the apex body of Indian cooperative movement.

Delivering his presidential speech President NCUI Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav said that professional training is important to run a cooperative successfully. Employees should know about the marketing, balance sheet, diversification of business, use of Information technology including day to day work of the society and all the aspects to grow cooperatives. The president wished all the participants a bright future.
