NCCE employs latest video conferencing applications in its training

Continuing its pursuit of cooperative education and training through digital platforms, NCCE has launched two online certificate courses- one in August and the second one in September, claims a press release from the apex co-op body.

In all the programs being conducted, a special emphasis is being laid on the latest video conferencing applications available in the market so that the Digital Cooperative Education & Training becomes a norm rather than an exception in the months to come, says Ms Sandhya Kapoor, Director NCCE/IT.

First of these is the Certificate Course in Advance MS-Office & Computer Maintenance. This will train the participants in the usage of advanced features of MS-Office – MS-Word, MS-Excel & MS-Power Point and also equip them with the skill to self-manage and optimally use their desktops. Will be conducted from 17th August to 11th September’20.

Second one is the Certificate Course in Cooperative Law & Management. This course is specifically designed for managers to enable them to manage their cooperative societies in a professional manner covering all matters right from office management, to human resource management to financial management.

In addition, cooperative law will also be covered at length – starting from registration of a cooperative society to bye-laws, to membership rights & responsibilities to conducting various types of meetings to elections, to settlement of disputes. This will be a 6-week course starting from 21st September to 29th October’20.

Besides the officers & faculty members of NCUI/NCCE, subject experts from other cooperative organizations took the sessions in these programs.

Earlier, NCCE conducted 6 online programs for various sectors like PACS, multi-state cooperatives, fertilizer sector (IFFCO Plants), Trainers’ Training for CEIs of state cooperative unions/junior coop training centres, and for NCUI Education Field Projects – for Projects Officers, Lady Mobilizers and Farm Guidance Instructors.

The programs are mostly designed for 3 days covering 2 topics daily to enable participants to absorb the contents comfortably without any added stress of spending too much time online.

In addition to these, a special custom-made program was conducted for 50 employees of the Mudra Agriculture & Skill Development Multi State Coop Society Ltd. On Cooperation & Cooperative Management to help them understand the intricacies of managing a cooperative and salient feature of the MSCS Act, 2002.
