National Cooperative Federations led by NCUI is organizing the Cooperative Expo-2014 at the Pragati Maidan in Delhi on Thursday. It is scheduled to continue for a couple of days. The inauguration is slated at 10.00 a.m. at Hall No. 4-5 of Pragati Maidan and could be reached through Entry Gate No. 2.
The event will be inaugurated by Shri Tariq Anwar, Minister of State for Agriculture, while NCUI, President, Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav will also be present on the occasion.
The two day event will provide an opportunity to the leading cooperative organisations in the country to show-case their products, while also highlight their achievements.
The event is an image-building exercise of the cooperative sector to show its brand strength among stakeholders as it will provide an opportunity to network among cooperatives and other significant players.
The major cooperative organisations which are expected to participate includes – Andhra Pradesh Dairy Development Cooperative Federation, IFFCO-Tokyo Insurance, KRBHICO, NCDC, IFFCO, Buldana Urban Cooperative Credit Society, Sikkim State Cooperative Supply and Marketing Federation, Odisha State Handloom Weavers’ Cooperative, etc.
The Chairmen and MDs of National level Cooperative Federations based in Delhi will be present on the occasion.
