NCUI is organizing Valedictory Function of 60th All India Cooperative Week on Wednesday at its headquarters in Delhi, read a press release from the apex cooperative organization.
The release signed by the Chief Executive Dr Dinesh further read “National Cooperative Union of India celebrates the All India Cooperative Week every year throughout the country beginning with the Birthday of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the First Prime Minister of India.”
This year we are celebrating 60th All India Cooperative Week all over the country. The basic objective for the celebration is to highlight the achievements of the cooperative sector across the country so as to create a favourable public opinion in favour of cooperative sector. The theme of this year Cooperative Week is “Cooperatives for Socio-Economic Resurgence in Changing Times”, the release asserted.
Dr. Dalip Singh, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India would be the Chief Guest of Valedictory function and Shri B.D. Sinha, Managing Director, KRIBHCO and Dr. G.N. Saxena, Director (Cooperative Development), IFFCO will be the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
