LINAC, Bhubaneswar trains PACS members on Book-keeping

Laxmanrao Inamdar National Academy for Cooperative Research and Development Regional Training Centre (LINAC), Bhubaneswar organized one Day Training Program on “Accounts and Book Keeping in Primary Level Cooperatives” on Wednesday in Odisha which was attended by many co-operators.

Held under the guidance of Sundeep Kumar Nayak, Managing Director of NCDC, the training program was especially designed for Secretaries, Presidents and other members of the Board of Directors of Primary Level Cooperative Societies.

There were 20 participants in the program, from 20 Primary level cooperatives across Angul, Dhenakanal and Balasore districts.

Dr. R.N. Gopal, Regional Director, NCDC, Bhubaneswar welcomed the guests and participants of the training program and briefed about the objective of the training program.

In his inaugural address, Gopal emphasized on the training needs of cooperative professionals of primary level cooperatives to develop concepts of Accounts and Book Keeping in Primary Cooperatives to run the cooperative societies professionally.

He also talked about NCDC vision of nurturing primary level cooperative societies with the financial assistance from under Sahakar-22, started by the cooperative lender in the past.

S.P. Rath, Ex- Regional Director of NCDC, Bhubaneswar, graced the occasion as the guest of honour.

The faculty for the training program comprised of PriyanathPanigrahi, A.K. Praharaj and B.P. Maity from office of the Auditor General of Cooperative Societies, Govt. of Odisha
