nccf virendra singhNCCF headquarters at Nehru Place in Delhi wore a festive look but a palpable tension could be felt in the atmosphere. It was the last day of nomination for the Board of directors and there looked little cooperation and more of competition in the apex consumer cooperative federation’s office.

The former Chairman of NCCF Virendra Singh was sharp on time at 10.30 to file nomination while others came one by one. In total nine nominations were filed and except Bihar from where Vishal Singh was the lone candidate, there would be election in all other zones, if the consensus efforts already afoot to withdraw names, do not succeed.

If Bijender Singh has a competitor in Sagwan, Virendra Singh is being challenged by one Vinod from Gujarat. Evens d induria NCUI President’s son Yashpal is pitted against Ambika Singh. There are two nominations from Kerala and Karnataka too.

Sunil Singh, Biscomaun Chairman was a surprise candidate when he suddenly appeared to file nomination representing Biscomaun.

nccf yashpal singh-vrinder singhMeanwhile, the issue of calendar year vs cooperative year raged in the cooperative corridors for the whole day. Vishal’s candidature in tenuously held on this account. His society is alleged to have done business in October.

Quoting MSC Act Virendra Singh said that since NCCF is a business organization it has either to subscribe to financial year or to the cooperative year both of which begin on 1st April and ends by 31st March. You cannot by any stretch of imagination treat calendar year as a criterion, he dared Indian Cooperative to quote him on the issue.

Now Vishal’s fate hangs on the decision of S D Induria the Returning officer.nccf virendra singh-vishal singh

The former Chairman of NCCF Virendra Singh also lauded the management and the Returning officer for conducting the whole election process in a very fair manner. We can claim that we are as fair as it was done in IFFCO in last election, Mr Singh added.

Mr. Virender Singh Chairman (former chairman):

    a. This Name is currently in the news for the COAL SCAM (AP jainco matter) and CBI catches him for the interrogation for three nights
    b. This great human being was spoiled his own image to badly among the employees of N.C.C.F By taking huge money in the form of commissions/bribe from different branches.

Virender singh will conduct whole election process in a very fair manner. what a JOKE ……
This person has ERODED the NCCF and want to continue with these elections as well.

STOP THIS PERSON TO PARTICIPATE INTO THE ELECTIONS OTHERWISE ITS TOO LATE TO LOCATE NCCF ON THE COOPERATIVE MAPS OF INDIA JUST LIKE NAFED.

    2. Ministry has to take the matter in their own hands in order to run these cooperatives in a right manner until & unless good cooperatives with good vision came for framing the board.
    3. Gujarat has a number of good competent cooperatives but due to the MAFIA RAJ of these People good cooperatives not coming herein.
    4. New conditions has been added into the byelaws by Mr Virender singh (former chairman) which would consider his own CG-business provided it is not a consumer cooperative actually.
    5. Membership has been closed here in N.C.C.F for the different co-operatives which is in itself a smell of Mafia Raj Regime going on.
    6. Only Three people are eligible among the whole Country who are best for the chairman figure of N.C.C.F here are the brief descriptions about these Great People.
    7. Is it their GRAND Legacy sort of thing which always in the hands of these people ?
