Bijender comes poor third

Arvind_Kejriwal_garland_The recently elected NCCF Chairman Bijender Singh was greeted with bad news on Tuesday morning  as he came a poor third in the Delhi Assembly elections, counting for which was completed same day.

The electoral tsunami was so terrorizing that what to talk of NAFED former Chairman’ it saws  a complete decimation of congress party and a near decimation of the ascendant BJP.

Bijender polled 15756 votes while BJP candidate Mankoj Kumar Shokeen polled 46235 votes and the winner from AAP Raghuvinder Shokeen polled whopping 83259.

Bijender who could not concentrate on two pressing cooperative elections-NCCF and KRIBHCO gave priority to Assembly poll only to face failure on Tuesday, though he was lucky in both NCCF and Kribhco elections. In the NCCF he was elected Chairman; in Kribhco his name already figures in the list of uncontested elected Directors.

Though an old MLA from Nagloi Jat, a western Delhi constituency Bijender had strong-hold in the area till recently but Modi wave in the last election and Kejriwal’s this time did him in twice.
