In Meet the Press program organized by NCUI and participated by NCUI newly elected President and NAFED Chairman along with media persons, NAFED Chairman Vijender Singh said that in which ever states cooperative movement is successful, people are enjoying good life. Citing the case of Gujarat he said that cooperatives are doing quite well in Gujarat which has led to all round progress of the state.
States with little or with lack of cooperative movement generally fall victim at the hand of middle man leading to exploitation and consequent poverty, he added. Citing the factors which make cooperative movement successful he said that movement has to be strengthened at the grass root level.
