There is election in National Consumer Cooperation Federation in July and the board of NCCF feels cooling the soul in the snow of Srinagar will make them ready for the big event. When Indiancooperative.com talked to one of the Directors to find out why Srinagar, his brief answer was ‘It was a routine meet”.

It is not so that routine meet of NCCF at Srinagar is for nothing. According to those who know the secrets of distance meeting, such meetings  help in decision taking. Every body ,though invited cannot join such distant location and a few important Directors on the board pass their agenda without much fuss.

Also allowing Directors to come with their  families and making arrangements for their food and lodge helps in keeping them in good humour. With elections around the corner one can afford to do this. Can not one?
