The Mizoram Cooperative Apex Bank Ltd held its Board of Directors meeting, approving various individual and church-based loans.
A total of 74 church-related loans worth Rs 2.37 crore and 67 personal loans amounting to Rs 95.9 lakh were sanctioned, spanning agriculture, industry, business, and self-help sectors.
To enhance rural banking access, the bank introduced 44 Banking Correspondents and 21 new Pigmy Collectors with handheld devices.
Chaired by Pu Lalnunsanga, the board emphasized expanding branches and services to towns and remote areas across Mizoram.
