Biscomaun makes news, opens revolving restaurant

After long time Bihar cooperative has made some pleasant  news by the effort of Biscouman Chairman who spearheaded the effort to have a revolving hotel at Patna. On the day of inauguration on August 11th the Chairman of Biscomaun Mr Sunil Singh welcomed important guests including the chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

Located at 18th floor of Biscomaun tower at the west of Gandhi maidan this is the first restaurant in of its kind in Bihar and Patna joins the elite club of cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad and Jaipur having revolving restaurants.

The promoters say that the restaurant located at least 85 meters above ground level and have the best scenic sights like the Ganga, the historic Golghar, Gandhi Maidan and many other historical sites in the city.

Deputy Chief Minister, Cooperative Minster and other people associated with cooperatives in Bihar also graced the occasion.

Sumit Kheria, one of the promoters of the restaurant said, “Any customer spending an hour’s time here can see all this. Because that is the time the restaurant will make a 360 degree round.” He said there will be dedicated lobby at the ground floor and a dedicated lift to reach the restaurant. “There is enough space to adjust 140 customers at a time. The kitchen will be one floor below.”

The promoters are going to have a tie-up with nationally acclaimed ‘Pind Balluchi,’ which has its outlets across the metros in India. Kheria said, “The group has high reputation in hospitality sector with specialization in good food and said that prices will be affordable.
