The grapevine has it that Bagchi Bhai Patel is not actively involved in the business of Kribhco.Only recently he was elected Chairman of Kribhco which saw intense backroom manipulations.
He has written a letter to Kribhco board in which he cites his bad health for his inability to participate in the Kribhco affair. But the interesting twist in the letter comes when he writes that all the responsibilities of the Chairman will be shouldered by Vice-Chairman. NCUI President and Kribhco former Chairman Mr. Chandra Pal Singh is the vice chairman of Kribhco. So the effective power rests in his hand only.
Mr. Chandra Pal’s decision to stay in Kribhco as Vice Chairman has not been welcomed by many old cooperators who feel that a President of the apex body like NCUI should not accept such roles.
