Talking to Indiancooperative.com, NCCF Chairman, Mr Virendra Singh says that he would support the draft on some issues while oppose those points which are not conducive to the democratic functioning of the cooperatives.

Supporting the issue of constitution of Election Authority, Virendra Singh disagrees on the point of chief executive being given the power of calling meeting on recommendation of one fourth of members. Chairman is the representative of general body and he can not be ignored like that, felt Mr Singh.
On the issue of Rehabilitation Fund he says that contribution should be a part of profit not turn over as you may have high turn over with little profit. Also on the issue of dispute where decision of Central Registrar can not be questioned in court, Mr Singh felt that right to represent onself in court should not be done away with. If a Chairman can make a mistake so can central registrar,he argues.
Talking on the issue of Information officer in Cooperatives who has to furnish information within stipulated time, Mr Virendra Singh said that if govt wants so ,we have no option.
Virendra Singh is of the opinion that the whole issue should be handed over to some committee and views of cooperative leaders be accommodated before the proposal becomes act.
