Real winner of Kribhco election remains Mr Paresh R Patel. He rebuked all efforts of negotiation and instead went for voting. In a keenly contested fight he got 22 votes while runner up Mr Dilip Bhai polled 7 and the third one got 6 votes.
I am associated with cooperatives since 1997 and my people expected me to fight and win. I had no option but to fight, added Mr Patel. He toured tirelessly across length and breadth of Gujarat for 33 days and molded opinion in his favour. The other state he went for canvassing was Rajasthan.
The young and dynamic Mr Paresh R Patel is also Director in National Cooperative Consumers Federation of India (NCCF).
