Kribhco: Dr Sunil greeted at Patna airport

Sunil Kumar Singh who never forgets to remind reporters that he is a Doctor as Dr Chandra Pal Singh and Dr Bijender Singh are, was received by a large gathering of supporters when he arrived at Patna airport after winning a place for himself in the prestigious Board of Directors in the giant farmers cooperative KRIBHCO.

Kribhco elections concluded last week in which Sunil not only emerged victorious but was also seen as somebody the newly elected Chairman Dr Chandra Pal Singh was depending again and again for backroom consultations.

A jubilant Biscomaun Chairman turned emotional at the warm reception and reminded this reporter of Bihari nature of affection and belongingness. Chairman of about 12 Central Cooperative Banks of different districts of the state along with several cooperators were present. “People celebrate every success here and what I have achieved is not run of the mill stuff”, he clarified.

Kribhco elections were held last Thursday where Dr Chandra Pal Singh was declared elected Chairman. The NCUI headquarters at August Kranti Marg in Delhi witnessed the unprecedented crowds eager to greet the winners.

Dr Bijender Singh and Dr Sunil Kumar Singh proposed the name of Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav and it was passed unanimously.

V R Patel, the outgoing Chairman was elected Vice-Chairman of the new Board. Sudhakar Chaudhary, only Director who was challenged also romped home by comfortable margin.

Now the leaders are bracing up for NCUI election scheduled in March.
