There is good news coming from fertilizer cooperative Kribhco that has beaten its own previous records and sold the highest amount of fertilizer till the end of the quarter one of the current financial year.
Though other companies are struggling with the aftershock of Covid-19 cooperatives in the fertilizer sector are busy beating their own previous records. Kribhco registered the record sales across all the products including Urea, DAP, NPK, Compost, Bio Fertilizers.
Besides, 11,82,887 MT Urea and 2,22,086 MT phosphatic fertilizers had been supplied to the farmers all over the country during the quarter one of 2020-2021 financial year, said a senior official of the co-op giant.
Congratulating the team in general and Kribhco Marketing Head V S Sirohi in particular, Kribhco MD Rajan Chowdhry tweeted, ” KRIBHCO breaks all records for Sales during Q1 2020. Congratulations VS Sirohi and the entire team of the Marketing Division for this spectacular performance during these difficult times.”
“Amid corona virus scare, the highest sale in the 1st quarter of the current FY was not achieved easily and Kribhco team worked really hard to do so, said an official. Kribhco team even supplied fertilizer bags at the doorstep of farmers in the pandemic”, said the official to Indian Cooperative.
Earlier, talking about the development through social media Kribhco marketing director wrote, ” Record Sales by #KRIBHCO across all our products viz Urea, DAP, NPK, Compost, Bio-Fertilizers. An all-time high of 1182887 MT #UREA and 222086 MT #Phosphatic fertilizers supplied to farmers all over the country during #Pandemic Q1 of 2020-21 “.
The news on social media spread fast as fans made a beeline for congratulating the Kribhco team. One of the followers Shivani Kaul wrote, ” Commendable team Kribhco under great leadership of Senior officials. Congratulations to all for this achievement under such a pandemic situation”.
