Indian Cooperative, the popular and the only cooperative news portal has decided to re-adopt old Homepage on popular demand. While adopting a new face the portal had asked the readers to give their opinions.
Though some of the readers liked the new face, majority of them felt comfortable with the older face. As one of them wrote “I found it easy to navigate to the sector I wished to in the older form of the portal. Please get back to the older version.”
Editorial Board had tough time convincing the technical team to accept the verdict of readers as the latter argued vehemently that number of stories on display has increased many folds in the new version.
But the Board successfully convinced the technical team and drove home the point that a reader is the king and his choice is final.
It is true that habit dies hard. Also it takes time to form new habits. The newer version was indeed superior on many counts but our readers have got addicted to the older version for the last three years.
Respecting their opinion we have decided to restore the older version. Hope they have no complaint anymore.
