Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Minister Mukut Bihari Verma thanked IFFCO for lowering the price of DAP Fertilizer from Rs 1076 per bag to Rs 1050. A difference of Rs 26 which will help the farmers of the country in a big way, Verma said.
“Today on the occasion of 50 years of IFFCO a farmers and cooperative conference was held in Bahraich. IFFCO has reduced the price of DAP fertilizer from Rs 1076 per bag to Rs 1050 which is a big gift for our farmers. I thank them most sincerely”, Verma wrote on his wall in Hindi.
Bahraich was Dr. Awasthi’s 107th destination during his farmers connect campaign. On this occasion, he explained how IFFCO provides benefits to the farmers who are a part of the country’s food security. Every farmer has to raise the status of India as a nation, he urged.

Cooperative Minister Mukut Bihari Verma through his facebook wall. Verma was present in a function organized by IFFCO in his assembly constituency in Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh last week.
Addressing a large gathering of farmers, Verma said IFFCO manufactures fertilizer as well as offers agriculture service to the farmers. It is a commendable effort. The minister alos urged farmers to use organic fertilizer.
Coming to IFFCO MD’s farmers’ connect campaign, he visited Gorakhpur which was his 108th destination. Here the farmers’ conference was inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi.
Shahi said Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream to double the income of farmers will be possible only with the help of people like IFFCO’s MD Dr U S Awasthi.
Awasthi also visited Deoria district in Gorakhpur division his 109th destination. Sixteen more to go, counted one of his team members, before he reaches the figure of 125. Awasthi is reaching Delhi Wednesday evening to attend Sahakar Bharati program on Laxamanrao Inamdar on Thursday.
