With an aim to drive home a message that IFFCO is here and every where, its Directors led by MD Dr U S Awasthi held 9th Board meeting of Golden Jubilee Year in Mumbai on Monday.
“Also with our MD embarking on an all-India meeting farmers, the team of Directors chooses to meet at the nearest possible destination to keep pace with his speed”, said one of the Directors who did not wish to be identified.
It was the ninth Board meeting in the year of Golden Jubilee celebration that was kicked off last November in Kalol- IFFCO’s parent unit. Tweeting on the occasion MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote “uniting India in one string the Board hold its 9th meeting in Mumbai.”
Earlier, the IFFCO team was jubilant as the MD informed that the monthly productions of several of its units including Aonla, Phulpur and Kandla exceeded the target.
Similarly, IFFCO’s overseas unit based in Jordan- JIFCO also 
brought good news for the Directors as it also crossed 100 per cent of its target production. JIFCO counts among the largest producers of phosphoric acid complex in the world.
IFFCO next board meeting is scheduled in Phulpur in August at its plant. September and October it would be Chandigarh and Paradeep respectively.
The 12th Board meeting of the Golden Jubilee year would culminate at Kalol from where it started a year ago. IFFCO team had ambitious plan to mark the occasion beginning November 3rd.
