IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi himself led by example planting trees in Moradabad along with the UP Cooperation Minister Shivapl Singh Yadav. Tweeting about the event he wrote” planting neem tree in Moradabad along with Shivpal Singh Yadav on the occasion of the inauguration of the new branch of district co-operative bank.”

Awasthi also jointly inaugurated AGM of the Bank along with the Minister as is clear from his tweet” Attended #AGM of Distt #Cooperative Bank, #Moradabad. Welcomed & jointly inaugurated by @shivpalsinghyad. “

gangwarMD also shared a photograph of Union Agriculture Minister Radha Mohan Singh planting a neem tree on thesingh occasion. He thanked the Minister for encouraging IFFCO’s efforts.

Another important minister who participated in IFFCO’s programme was Santosh Gangwar. Gangwar is a Minister of State for Finance in the Government of India who hails from Bareli.

IFFCO has been making efforts to make neem-plantation a big event. Its campaign recently has stretched across South covering Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. MD’s daily tweets convey stories of neem-plantation from various parts of the country.
