KVK scientist discovers magic of Nano Urea; Video goes viral

IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U S Awasthi is a busy man these days as field reports on the usage of Nano are pouring in from various parts of the country. Media savvy Dr. Awasthi is disseminating the information through social media.

Recently, the MD shared a video in which a senior scientist of KVK (Krishi Vigyan Kendra) shared his experience of using Nano urea in the tomato crop. The results were fabulous, says the scientist.

Sharing the video, Dr Awasthi’s writes “Senior Scientist Dr. Santosh Karanjay Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Baramati, Maharashtra is sharing his experience about using the IFFCO Nano Urea on tomato crop which improved the quality of tomatoes and also increased the length of plants which bore more tomatoes than before.”

In a short video, Karanjay says that he has been spraying Nano urea at the interval of 30 days. He says only 4ml of Nano is to be used in one liter of water. He reports fantastic growth of the crop after the application of Nano urea.

“My estimate is that we would have 50 tonnes of tomatoes from one acre of land due to the application of Nano”, says Karanjay adding the need for conventional urea can be reduced by half here.

The scientist also notes that the length of the crop has also increased after Nano spraying. They are also bearing more tomatoes. The plants have grown taller than me, he says in the video.

Earlier, Awasthi shared a video of a farmer who rushed to buy a Nano bottle for his “mentha” (peppermint) crop. The farmer in the video says that he heard about the shortage of Nano in the market and as he is used to applying it for his crop, he got nervous and rushed to buy Nano from the market. After getting the same, the smiling farmer goes lyrical about Nano in the video.

At the recent launch of IFFCO’s new office at Kolkata, IFFCO Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani said Nano Urea is a step towards AtmaNirbhar Bharat and fits in the vision of the Prime Minister. Incidentally, IFFCO also achieved the target of producing 3 crore Nano bottles on the occasion.

Recently Uttar Pradesh Minister JPS Rathore apprised the farmers of the use of Nano Urea virtually, in a program organized at Sahakar Bhawan at Lucknow. On this occasion, more than 5,000 farmers, cooperators, employees, and others were connected virtually.
