Kudos to Patel and Singh

Electronic transfer of dividend to the bank accounts of delegates even as the proceedings of AGM were in progress deserves special mention. IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi called out M R Patel at the middle of the stage and asked everyone around to thank him through clapping.

Delegates were visibly happy as one of them V K Thummar – a well known cooperator and Ex Member Parliament from Gujarat showed his mobile to this reporter showing credit of dividend in his society’s account.

When Tarun Bhargava asked from the stage “if you have got dividends in your account”, a huge number of hands were raised affirming the transfer. Mr Patel who was included in the list of Functional Director a couple of years ago received accolades from one and all for the feat.

Similarly, A K Singh, another man promoted as Director along with Patel also received fulsome praise from every one for the successful completion of the AGM. Singh replaced Dr G N Saxena as the Head of Cooperative Relations and though he is out and out a technical man he was able to ensure everything worked smoothly with the help of an able team and the guidance of a legendary boss Dr Awasthi.

Others whose role deserves a mention here for making the AGM a huge success include Harshendra Singh Verdhan- who ensured that all wishes of MD are carried out, Tarun Bhargava whose practiced voice lent a cooling effect on the gathered assembly and Mr Yogendra Kumar who tirelessly advocated the use of bio-fertilizer Sagarika.

Delegates and special invitees also poured their heart out singing the praise of IFFCO and its MD when they were given a chance to speak from the podium.
