IFFCO and Jordan Phosphates Mines Company Ltd (JPMC) had formed a limited liability Joint Venture Company namely Jordan India Fertilizer Company (JIFCO) on 6 March 2008 in Amman. On the first December 2015 the plant had gone operational. The project is worth $860 million.
The partner of IFFCO Jordan Phosphate Mines Company (JPMC) owns and operates a large number of phosphate mines in Jordan. This strategic partnership has begun to prove successful for the largest farmers’ cooperative IFFCO.
