IKSL is famed globally for making IT accessible to the have-nots in the remotest parts of the country. It has won several awards- domestic as well as global for rendering exemplary services to farmers in the past. Recently it hogged the headlines by winning CSI Excellence Award.
IKSL’s list of achievements could be envied as the cooperative has made a difference in the lives of people in the true sense of the term. Earlier, USA President Mr. Barack Obama, appreciated the Mobile-Phone based initiatives of IKSL.
The Energy and Resources Institute -TERI is an independent research institute focused on energy, environment and sustainable development. Established in 1974, it is based in Delhi. It was formerly known as Tata Energy and Resource Institute. As the scope of its activities widened, it was renamed The Energy and Resources Institute in 2003.
The institute in 2013 was ranked as the topmost global think-tank in the field of climate sciences and research by the International Center for Climate Governance (ICCG).
