Several units and subsidiaries of the largest fertilizer cooperative IFFCO have bagged FAI awards in independent categories leading to cheers among the employees of the cooperative giant.
If IFFCO Phulpur unit won FAI award for best technical innovation, IFFCO Paradip got Special Award consecutively for three years for environment protection.
IFFCO HO won FAI award on Application of information & communication technology in agriculture while IFFCO Kandla bagged FAI runner up award for technical innovation.
A euphoric MD Dr U S Awasthi tweeted separately congratulating each unit and its head for bagging the award who in turn thanked him for able leadership and insightful guidance.
On IFFCO marketing winning the award Dr. U S Awasthi tweeted: Congratulations to #IFFCO Mktg for getting #FAI golden jubilee award on #Transfer of improved farm technology #.
The Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) is a non-profit and non-trading company representing mainly the fertiliser manufacturers, distributors, importers, equipment manufacturers, research institutes and suppliers of inputs. The Association was established in 1955 with the objective of bringing together all concerned with the production, marketing and use of fertilizers.

The award ceremony would take place on December 10 at a function in N Delhi.
