IFFCO units get recognition from Govt Safety Body

Two units of IFFCO- Aonla and Phulpur have bagged Certificate of Appreciation by the apex industrial safety body National Safety Council which is an autonomous body, set up by the Government of India, Ministry of Labour and Employment in the year 1966.

A jubilant MD Dr. U S Awasthi lost no time and shared the good news tweeting “ Congrats 2 #IFFCO #Aonla 4 receiving Certificate of Appreciation by #National Safety Council 4 Occupational #Safety & #Health. @akmaheshwari.”

His next tweet was for Phulpur” Congrats 2#IFFCO Phulpur for certificate of appreciation for occupational safety & health hazard from#National Safety Council @mukul_smukul”.

IFFCO family which has of let begun organizing itself around social media such as Twitter and Face Book began to retweet MD’s congratulatory message. One of them tweeted “ @drusawasthi Nice to see IFFCO two units got NSCI appreciation which shows IFFCO”s Commitment to safety under Dr Awasthi Sir leadership.”

The IFFCO employees are an excited lot still more since they know that the National Safety Council is not a non-entity. Set up by the Government of India to generate, develop and sustain a voluntary movement on Safety, Health and Environment at the national level, top industries vie with each other to grab its awards.
