In the meeting, Awasthi informed CM about his ” farmers connect campaign” which has been started during the golden jubilee celebrations of IFFCO and explained about the digital platform IFFCO has developed for farmers to provide them  products at their door step.

Earlier, IFFCO MD was in Solan, Himachal Pradesh which was his 71st destination.

While addressing the farmers Dr. Awasthi said ”we have to strengthen the cooperative movement in hilly areas and IFFCO is focusing on the farmers in these areas because cooperatives have huge scope”.

Awasthi announced that IFFCO will bring something new in the form of organic fertilizer which will directly help the farmers in their farming.

Awasthi inaugurated the Agriculture exhibition which was organized for the farmers to educate them about the products launched by IFFCO and there was a  separate stall  offering tips  on cashless transactions.

Farmers shared their views and suggestions with  the visitors to the exhibition.
