Besides surpassing their targets for the month of December, the various units of IFFCO performed well with one of its products–Sagarika Granule and Liquid registering an increase of more than 60% compared to last year.
The spectacular performance won the praise of IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi who has made it customary to publish the report card of each unit and each department of co-op titan every month in the first week.
In December Yogendra Kumar’s marketing team performed well in the sales of Water-Soluble fertilizer and Specialty fertilizers. It registered a growth of 96.10%, Sagarika Granule & Liquid 79.73% & 89.07% respectively for December 2020.
Sagarika is an organic bio-stimulant derived from red and brown seaweeds, which enhances crop productivity and provides resistance against stress. It is available in both liquid and granular variants.
Congratulating the IFFCO’s Marketing team in general and its head Yogendra Kumar in particular, the fertilizer cooperative MD wrote, “@IFFCOBAZAR posts impressive performance by surpassing last FY sale in Q3 itself. Good growth across all segments. Sales of #Sagarika granule & liquid increased over last year by 67% & 60% respectively. Congratulations to @iffcoyogendra @DeepDks611 & the entire team”.
IFFCO has also done a spectacular performance in sales through PoS machines. The Adhar Authenticated Sale to farmers recorded 11 percent higher sales compared to last year with 24.6 percent market share, claimed Awasthi’s tweet.
Besides, All IFFCO teams were jubilant as all its units achieved their monthly targets for the month of December. Paradeep Unit has surpassed its monthly bulk fertilizer and sulphuric acid production.
Phulpur Unit surpassed the targets of ammonia and urea fertiliser winning words of appreciation from MD Dr U S Awasthi. Similarly, Aonla Unit head I C Jha and his team have won praise from the MD for achieving the targets.
Dr Awasthi congratulated each team separately. Tweeting for Aonla Unit’s head in particular, the IFFCO MD tweeted, ” Congratulations to #IFFCO #Aonla Unit @icjha_iffco & entire team for their brilliant performance for surpassing the production & dispatch targets for #Ammonia & #Urea fertiliser for the month of #Dec2020. The MD also tweeted for other units including the Kandla, Kalol and Paradeep units for their excellent performance and encouraged them to perform better in future too.
IFFCO’s overseas subsidiary JIFCO has also surpassed the monthly production target for December 2020. The MD congratulated the JIFCO team through a tweet.
