IFFCO succeeds in making Kalol unit go cashless

Leading from front the cooperative giant IFFCO has succeeded in converting one of its important Units Kalol go cashless earning laurels from various quarters. IFFCO has launched relentless campaign to make farmers adopt cashless transaction for quite some time now.

IFFCO’s Kalol unit is taking initiative in a big way using prepaid card, PoS machines, wallets & govt apps in their transactions to make PM Narendra Modi’s dream project ‘make India a cashless economy’ a success.

IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi congratulated the team of Kalol Unit and wrote on his twitter wall “Congrats #IFFCO #Kalol for turning to #DigitalEconomy. Use of prepaid cards, POS machines, wallets & Govt Apps. @narendramodi @PMOIndia”.

In another tweet, he wrote “#IFFCO is supporting & promoting PM @narendramodi ‘s initiative of #CashlessEconomy #DigitalEconomy across #India”.

During his ” farmers connect campaign” yatra, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi has been encouraging farmers to adopt cashless transaction and educating them on the benefits of it. He has visited about 50 places including cities across India.

IFFCO is celebrating its golden jubilee and the celebrations started from Kalol in 2016 and would end here in 2017.
