If it would be farmers wowed by the presence of IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi in his earlier yatras , it was now Awasthi’s turn to be balled over in Aurangabad. Such was the reception organized to welcome him!

Unique Rangoli with MD in the middle along with IFFCO subsidiaries on the periphery , captivating cultural shows and victory trumpets at their loudest were employed to welcome him.

Awasthi had to concede “cooperative is in the blood of Maharashtra’s villages.

An emotional MD also said there is no difference between IFFCO and other cooperatives and there is a need to work together. He also vowed to bring all cooperatives on the same digital platform.

The occasion also saw IFFCO honouring ten cooperators and as many farmers of the area for their performance. Important cooperative leaders of the area including Ashok Jagdap and others could be seen accompanying Dr Awasthi.

MD went to each stall and encouraged farmers for –going cashless to getting health checked up. Issues such as soil testing and less use of urea were also emphasized.

In Aurangabad which was MD’s 31st destination he was greeted in large number by women, children and senior farmers. Awasthi expressed his happiness through tweets and also posted their photographs.

There also was a session in which cooperators and farmers expressed themselves freely.

Awasthi was moved deeply by the emotive reception he received at Aurangaba and said “only such affection helps build IFFCO the way it is!”
