IFFCO MD Dr US Awasthi is on tour of Aonla plant where he is participating in a whole host of activities from blood donation camp to nature walk.In the midst of his professional engagements, he found time to encourage the children and motivated them for acquiring knowledge and information.
Dr Awasthi who lets go no opportunity to encourage younger generation participated in a quiz programme in the Aonla unit and laid emphasis on the power of information. He tweeted” Spent time with #Children in a Quiz competition organised at #IFFCO #Aonla. #Knowledge & Information: Key to success.”
IFFCO MD who was recently in news for announcing a drastic cut in fertilizer prices in the AGM of the cooperative behemoth said technology upgradation is the key to success. He also inspected new technologies being introduced in Aonla. In his words “Inspected new CO2 compressor being installed in #Urea II in #Aonla. Regular technology upgrade & maintenance is must.”

A great enthusiast of planting neem trees Awasthi planted some and reminded that IFFCO has already planted 1.12 lac neem trees. He vowed to support researches in growing short duration and high oil yielding variety of Neem.
Later he met with the representatives of Employee Union & Officers Association of IFFCO Aonla underlining the uniqness of what he called “A complete IFFCO family”.
