IFFCO Directors who sat for Board meeting on Friday resolved to honour sahkar awards to two of the veteran cooperators. It was decided that Sahakarita Ratna award would be given to Ravinda Pratap Singh and Sahakarita Bandhu award to Kamal Krishna Sharma.
Congratulating them soon after the meeting IFFCO Managing Director U S Awasthi tweeted “#IFFCO board decided to give #”sahakarita Ratna”award to #Ravinda Pratap Singh & “sahakarita Bandhu” to #Kamal Krishna Sharma”congratulations.
Talking to Indian Cooperative, one of the Directors said that other issues pertaining to Board meeting was routine as usual.
IFFCO conducts Nehru Memorial lecture every year during the cooperative week celebrated from 14 th to 20th November. This year’s lecture would take place on 20th November in which the worthy cooperators would receive the award.
Dr U S Awasthi used this opportunity to welcome govt decision on gas pricing. Tweeting he wrote” #IFFCO welcomes#GOI decision on #Gas Price increase, decrease &deregulation on #Diesel price . Hope #GOI will increase Urea&reduce Dap price.”
He also demanded reform in the fertilizer sector on this occasion as his next tweet said “#Goi is requested to start reforming #fertiliser sector and proceed to dismantle archaic system . Pl bring# nutrient based system in #Urea”
