One of the production units of IFFCO based near Bareilly in Uttar Pradesh, Iffco Aonla has bagged yet another prestigious Green Tech Environment Award for its exemplary performance in the field of preserving and protecting the environment.
The Managing Director Dr US Awasthi of the fertilizer giant has congratulated the unit on its achievement. In particular Dr Awasthi has named Ravi Agnihotri, Joint General Manager (Technical) and S C Pandey for their spectacular performances.

The award is presented for displaying highest level of commitment to environment management covering all sectors of industries and service sector.
Greentech Foundation was established in the year 2000 to celebrate the ethos of outstanding performance in environment protection. It also promotes education and training in the field of environment management, reads its website.
Earlier, IFFCO Aonla unit was adjudged runner up for best production N2 unit by the FAI which distributed prizes on l0th December, 2014.
Last October IFFCO’s Phulpur unit bagged a government of India award “Indira Gandhi Paryavaran Puruskar ” setup by Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change.
