CSC vows to take IFFCO’s Nano urea to remote areas

Moving in tandem with the government of India, the fertilizer cooperative IFFCO signed an MoU for bringing about an environmental change in rural India through Nano Urea fertilizers last week.

As per the MoU, IFFCO will supply its fertilizers and other products to CSC SPV for sale through their outlets and its associates.

The MoU was signed during a one-day workshop organized as part of ‘Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav’ which was inaugurated by Ajay Sawhney, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.

On behalf of IFFCO, its Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar signed the MoU in the presence of CSC SPV MD Dinesh Tyagi and others.

Sharing the news, IFFCO MD Dr. U S Awasthi wrote, “#IFFCO signed an agreement with @CSCegov_where IFFCO will supply its fertilizer & other products to CSC SPV for sale through their outlets and its associates. This will help the farmers at a large level. @iffcoyogendra Marketing Director IFFCO signed with @dintya15 MD CSC”.

Besides, on the occasion, the Common Services Centers launched a series of new services including CSCPay and Whstapp chatbot-based ‘CSC Health Services Helpdesk’, which people can scan to pay for services at common service centres.

It bears recall that the partnership between IFFCO and CSC was first struck in 2017 when Ravi Shankar Prasad was the minister.

The CSC had partnered with IFFCO to market all products and service offerings of IFFCO and Group Companies through Digital Seva portal. Under this service, VLE accepts significant quantity of orders from farmers for agri-inputs and other services, the VLE can place orders on CSC Portal and remits payment
