Awasthi’s tributes to Ambedkar

IFFCO Managing Director Dr. U S Awasthi on Saturday paid tributes to Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar on his 58th death anniversary. Awasthi tweeted on Mahaparinirvana Diwas.

In his tweet Dr Awasthi said ” # IFFCO pays homage to #Dr.Bhimrao Ambedkar on his 59th Mahaparinirvan Diwas”.

Dr.B.M.Ambedkar was independent India’s first law minister and the principal architect of Indian Constitution.

Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar, who died Dec 6, 1956, was a jurist, economist, politician and a social reformer who campaigned against social discrimination of Dalits, women and labourers.

In 1990, Ambedkar was posthumously conferred the Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award of India.
