Mixing work with fun IFFCO MD Dr US Awasthi visited his native village Sathani in Unnao district along with some foreign guests and showcased the awareness campaign being afoot in the village at the behest of IFFCO.
Giving details of the visit Dr. U S Awasthi tweeted “Arrived in my native village #Sathani, #Unnao after long time with international guests for #KrishiGoshthi”.
Besides participating in the farmers’ meet he also took guests around the Eye Check up camp being organized by IFFCO. The cooperative behemoth organizes such camps under the title “dedicated to the service of farmers”, underlined the MD.
He also visited IFFCO’s Soil Rejuvenation Stall as one of his tweets read” Visited #Soil Rejuvenation stall, shared expertise & innovations of local #IFFCO farmers with #RahulRoy & #Robert .”
But he was touched by the reception accorded by his village men on his arrival and said “It’s always an emotional feeling when your own people welcome you in your village. Thanks for the gratitude of farmers.”
