IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi is touring various parts of Rajasthan explaining to farmers the benefits of reduced urea usage and joining digital platform. He visited Lake City Udaipur and then the academic hub Kota. His next sojourn is Jaipur where the IFFCO Board meeting takes place on Saturday.

He exhorted farmers and cooperators to be part of IFFCO. “IFFCO has opened its gate and I request women in particular to be its members; we have to fly the national tricolor high”, he tweeted.

In Udaipur which was the 50th destination of IFFCO’s “Connect Kisan Campaign” a large number of farmers had turned up to meet Awasthi. He inaugurated an exhibition in which several products of the cooperative giant were on display to make farmers aware of them.

Tweeting that IFFCO is active educating the village women in Rajasthan he congratulated the IFFCO subsidiary IFFDC for its efforts in this direction. The Udaipur meeting also had a huge number of women in attendance. As usual, IFFCO MD emphasized the role of a healthy life and goaded farmers into going in for regular health check-ups.

His next destination was Kota where again the farmers were taught about the benefits of joining digital platform. Awasthi met each of them one on one and urged upon them to be modern and tech savvy. In one of his tweets MD appreciated the role being played by cooperatives in the field of agriculture in the state.

At both the places, cultural events were organized which Awasthi enjoyed with his team in the presence of the local cooperators-farmers.
