Dr U S Awasthi, Managing Director, IFFCO was conferred with “Life Time Achievement Award” in Fertiliser Sector for serving country’s farmers, cooperatives and community service by Delhi Telugu Academy(DTA).
The DTA applauded Awasthi’s knowledge and four decades of exhaustive experience in the fertiliser industry and his calibre as one of the best chemical engineer in the country, a sharp project manager and competent administrator.
His strategic thinking, adoption of innovative techniques and concern for environment & ecology, especially for Soil was highly appreciated by DTA.
The Award is constituted by Delhi Telugu Academy; who honour personalities who have excelled in their field including Art-Culture, Industry, Health Care, Service Sector, Education etc.
The award was given by Hon’ble Justice Sh. N V Ramana, Supreme Court of India in a glittering ceremony in New Delhi on 30th March, 2014. Delhi Telugu Academy is a non-profit socio-cultural organisation preserving & propagating core cultural values of the country.
