In a press note Delhi Chapter of NAFCUB has informed about the special honour given to its Chairman Laxmi Das recently in the capital. The release is signed by Mr Vijay Mohan, General Secretary of Delhi Urban Co-operative Banks Federation.
It reads Shri Laxmi Dass Ji, Chairman of Delhi Urban Cooperative Banks Federation, and Chairman of Kangra Cooperative Bank has been conferred with Best Co-operator of the Year.
The award was bestowed on him by Smt. Alka Diwan, Secretary cum Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Government of NCT of Delhi, New Delhi, in a prize distribution function organized by Delhi State Cooperative Union Ltd. in collaboration with Registrar of Co-operative Societies at Hindi Bhawan in Delhi.
Laxmi Dass’s Bank Kangra Co-operative Bank is the largest Co-operative Bank of NCTD ( National Capital Territory of Delhi ). It has about eight branches in the capital city of Delhi. It recently opened a new branch on M.B. Road.
