Witness Ram Udar Chaudhry dittos Sunil’s words

“No! this is absolutely wrong I never mentioned Sunil Singh’s name. There did not arise any occasion to mention his name that day”, said Ram Udar Chaudhry from Samastipur on the phone to Indian Cooperative. Mr Chaudhry is the Chairman of Samastipur District Central Cooperative Bank.

In his interview to Indian Cooperative Vinay Shahi , Chairman of Bihar State Cooperative Union Chairman had said Ram Udar Chaudhry was also critical of the role of the Biscomaun Chairman for his decision on not taking the body of late Narendra Singh to Biscomaun.

“I drove straight from Samastipur for the AGM and when I reached there I saw Sharma’s body down below the flag; there were 4-5 people huddled together. I asked what the matter is and then Mr Shahi and Mr Amar Pandey apprised me of the situation”, said Mr Chaudhry to Indian Cooperative. Pandey is the Chairman of Muzafferpur District Cooperative Bank.

“They were in a fix if the AGM should be continued or should be postponed in the eventuality preceding condolence meeting. Since I am regarded as aged and senior they sought my opinion. I suggested that the AGM after condolence is not done and it should better be postponed for a future date”, Chaudhary said.

“There was no occasion to mention Sunil Singh’s name as he was not even present there. He came much later and paid homage to the departed soul, where does the question arise of my being critical of him. He was simply not there on the scene”, blurted Chaudhry.

“It is common sight that bodies are taken by that route. Being a regular visitor I have also seen scores of bodies being taken through that route every day. Narendra Sharma’s body must also have gone that way and at the sight of a cooperative meeting in progress, the people with the dead body may have decided to take it there, what is a big deal in it”, asked Ram Udar Chaudhry.
