Thank God! I am not a crocodile: Sunil Singh

“I am happy to note that I am still a tiger even though active only on empty paper and not a crocodile which swallows crores of rupees”, said Biscomaun Chairman Sunil Singh reacting to a news item in which Vishal Singh called him a paper tiger.

”Who is Vishal Singh? Is he even a member of the most basic unit of cooperative called PACS or even Vyapar Mandal? And you are lowering the esteem of the cooperative news portal Indian Cooperative by publishing his phony baloney statement,” Mr Singh said with a hint of accusation in his voice.

When reminded that Vishal belongs to a family of cooperators and is on the Board of NAFED, Sunil said he is there because of his mercy. “The day I file a complaint that here is a man whose family single handed reduced the behemoth agri cooperative to penury, he would lose his position”, Sunil livid with anger shot back.

“I am happy that I am not a crocodile like him. He has three hotels and 8 schools”, he remarked.

”They are two of them-Vishal and Vinay and they whine and wail Vishwa Vilap (widows wail) while we do our work. Go to your village as you belong to Bihar and ask any one if they know Vishal,” Sunil challenged this correspondent.

”And Vinay Shahi did not have the guts to face me in the erstwhile Biscomaun Board. They talk of me quitting the state co-op union election but I would want them rather to thank their stars that I was not there. When the first time I filed nomination they cancelled it at the point of counting and chose a date that coincided with my US visit.”

”Go and ask any BJP leader; I have the guts to teach lessons to the likes of Ramadhar Singh and Giriraj Singh; who is this Vishal. Even when the entire government was with them last time they could not beat me and now they daydream of capturing Biscomaun”, Sunil added without taking breath.

”I have been the Chairman of Biscomaun since 2003 and would continue to be so for the next 20 years. If during my tenure , they are able to get elected even as a delegate they should thank their stars”, said Sunil in a self- congratulatory tone. Obviously, his extreme frustration seemed to make him oblivious to see that Vishal is the chairman of Tapendu Bank, and Shahi is the chairman of the apex cooperative body of Bihar.
