Akhilesh YadavA news magazine known for its stunning sting operations came out recently with a story about a fraudulent transaction done through an unauthorized cooperative bank that has cost the government of Uttar Pradesh an amount of Rs. 4.43 crore.

Sources say the UP govt is aware of it but it has yet to take action. The story is a company used fake bank guarantees of Indian Mercantile Cooperative Bank and thus cheated the govt. of Uttar Pradesh of the aforesaid amount.

It is worth repeating that the RBI had earlier baulked at the bank’s violation of the banking guidelines. And that apart, the bank’s director who happens to be the wife of a former parliamentarian and businessman Akhilesh Das Gupta enjoys a close political connection with the govt in Uttar Pradesh.

Sources say a league of commercial, bureaucratic and political interests has looted the public money.

My name is Anil Kumar Jain. I am from Saharanpur. I resigned from the services of UP Coop. Sugar factories Federation Ltd, Lucknow in August 2013.Till date I have not been paid my retirement dues in full.
Reasons are understandable. When I call them they say” Jain Sahab Aap jante hain, Yahan paise kaise nikale jaate hain”.

Helplines like the one operating in Delhi are the need of the hour in Uttar Pradesh.
I have knocked each and every door from CM to PM but justice awaited.I am suffering loss of interst on daily basis on this amount of mine… who is respomsible…
