Souharda celebrates 24th Sahakari Day; reiterates co-op commitment

The vibrant celebration of the “24th Souharda Sahakari Day” by the Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. in Bengaluru on January 1, 2024, resonated with enthusiasm and a shared commitment to cooperative principles.

The significant event, graced by the presence of Sharanagowda G. Patil, the Managing Director of KSSFCL, commenced with the dignified hoisting of the Souharda flag.

This symbolic gesture not only marked the cooperative’s pride but also served as a rallying point for cooperative societies statewide, engaging in simultaneous flag hoisting to emphasize unity and mutual cooperation.

Sharanagowda, in his address, underscored the pivotal role played by cooperative entities in societal development. He articulated the cooperative’s tireless efforts towards sectoral growth, aspiring to establish the Souharda Cooperative model as a beacon for cooperative movements across the nation.

The incorporation of the Souharda Act of Karnataka in the 97th Constitutional Amendment validated the legislative recognition and significance bestowed upon the cooperative’s endeavors.

The Managing Director’s impassioned call to action resonated with the cooperative’s members and employees. He urged them to collectively work towards the qualitative growth of the Souharda Cooperative Movement, emphasizing that every individual employee bears accountability for the movement’s various initiatives.

The celebratory atmosphere extended beyond formalities, encompassing engaging activities like quizzes and a spirited Rangoli competition. These events fostered a sense of camaraderie and unity among participants, reinforcing the cooperative’s commitment to holistic development and the nurturing of a resilient cooperative culture in the region.

The Souharda Sahakari Day celebration, therefore, stood not only as a testament to past achievements but also as a forward-looking pledge to continue contributing meaningfully to socio-economic progress in Karnataka.
