Shri Beereshwar Co-op Credit achieves exceptional performance

It’s the largest multi-state credit cooperative society in Southern India

Karnataka-based Shri Beereshwar Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., the largest multi-state credit cooperative society in Southern India, has achieved exceptional financial performance for the fiscal year 2024-25.

The Society crossed a business mix of Rs 7,600 crore and reported a net profit of Rs 45.35 crore, demonstrating its robust financial management and strategic expansion.

Under the visionary leadership of Founder Shri Annasaheb Shankar Jolle (Ex-MP) and Co-founder Sou. Shashikala A. Jolle (MLA and Ex-Minister), the Society has achieved strong financial growth across all key parameters, further cementing its position as a leader in the cooperative credit sector.

At a press meet held on April 3, 2025, the financial highlights were disclosed by Founder Shri Annasaheb Shankar Jolle, President Shri Appasaheb Shivaram Jolle, Vice Chairman Shri Anand Devagouda Patil, and other esteemed Board members, alongside key members of the press.

During the fiscal year 2024-25, the Society achieved significant financial growth across multiple parameters. Deposits saw a 13.56% increase, rising from Rs 3,820.57 crore to Rs 4,338.58 crore. Advances grew by 14.75%, reaching Rs 3,313.80 crore from Rs 2,887.78 crore.

The total business expanded from Rs 6,708.35 crore to Rs 7,652.37 crore, reflecting steady progress. Additionally, bank balance and investments saw substantial growth, increasing from Rs 927.01 crore to Rs 1,244.68 crore. The Society’s membership crossed 4 lakh, marking a significant milestone.

Share capital also saw a rise, going from Rs 33.01 crore to Rs 34.92 crore, while reserves and other funds increased to Rs 200.93 crore. Furthermore, working capital experienced a notable increase from Rs 4,187.66 crore to Rs 5,030.90 crore, reinforcing the Society’s financial stability and continued expansion.

Additionally, the Society expanded its branch network, adding 15 new branches, increasing its presence from 211 to 226 branches across Karnataka, Maharashtra, and Goa.

With its widespread presence and commitment to value-driven services, Shri Beereshwar Co-operative Credit Society Ltd. continues to set benchmarks in the cooperative banking sector.

Speaking after the Board of Directors meeting, Founder Shri Annasaheb Shankar Jolle expressed his gratitude and optimism, “We are incredibly proud of the progress our Society has made, particularly in FY 2024-25. These outstanding financial results reflect the dedication of our team and the unwavering trust of our valued members. The growth in deposits, advances, and overall business underscores the strength of our cooperative model—built on mutual trust, transparency, and service to the community.”
