Shah to launch Central Registrar’s Portal; Shinde & Fadnavis to attend

A day after Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah presided over the transfer of funds to Sahara victims, he will be inaugurating ‘Digital Portal of the Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies Office’ on 6th August, 2023 at Prof Ram Krishna More Multi-Purpose Hall, Pune, Maharashtra.

On this occasion, Maharashtra’ Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Ministers Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar will be present. Around 1200 delegates are likely to join the event.

Besides, Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management (VAMNICOM), Savitribai Phule Pune University Road, Pune will facilitate the function.

The Office of Central Registrar of Cooperative Societies is being computerised to create a digital ecosystem for Multi State Cooperative Societies to facilitate their activities.

Some of the objectives of Computerisation are Complete paperless submission and processing of applications; Automatic compliance with the MSCS Act & Rules through software Enhancing the ease of doing business, Digital Communication, Transparent processing, Improved Analytics & MIS.

The portal will also incorporate recently passed Amendments to the MSCS Act, 2002 & Rules thereof.

Some of the modules which will be covered in the new portal include Registration, Amendment of bye-laws, Annual Return Filing Appeal, Audit, Inspection, Inquiry, Arbitration and Winding Up & Liquidation.

The portal will enable processing of application / service requests through electronic work flow in the CRCS office in a time bound manner. This will have provision for OTP based user registration, validation checks for compliance with the MSCS Act and Rules, hearing through VC, issue of registration certificate and other communication electronically.

This project of Computerisation will help greatly in registration of new MSCS and facilitate their working by creating an enabling digital ecosystem.
