The Chairman of IFFCO, Dileep Sanghani visited the IFFCO–NanoVentions manufacturing and research centre at Coimbatore, where he reviewed advanced research and development activities and ongoing projects aimed at promoting sustainable agriculture.

During the visit, Sanghani interacted with scientists, officials and employees of NanoVentions and held a meeting with IFFCO State Marketing Managers from across the country. He undertook a detailed inspection of the manufacturing-cum-research facility and assessed the progress of various research initiatives being carried out at the centre.

Sanghani toured the advanced laboratories and held in-depth discussions with research teams on key innovation-driven projects. Appreciating the scientific excellence and commitment demonstrated by the teams, he said such focused research efforts are crucial for building a resilient and sustainable agricultural system.

Officials briefed the Chairman about a new product, Dhara Amrit Gold, a silicon-based natural soil conditioner that is ready for launch in the near future. Developed to support natural and sustainable farming, the product is designed to improve soil structure, enhance moisture retention, strengthen plant cell walls and increase tolerance to stress conditions such as drought and heat. It also aids nutrient absorption, supports stronger root and stem development, improves crop yield and quality, and reduces dependence on chemical fertilisers.

Addressing farmers, scientists and officials, Sanghani reiterated the vision of “Prosperity through Cooperation” and urged farmers to gradually reduce excessive use of chemical fertilisers by adopting alternatives such as IFFCO Nano Fertilisers, Dhara Amrit Gold and natural farming practices. He underlined that these measures are essential for maintaining long-term soil health, protecting the environment and ensuring sustainable agricultural growth.

He also advised IFFCO and NanoVentions officials to further strengthen research and development so that farmers can benefit from high-quality, nutrient-efficient products and reliable services. Continuous innovation combined with strong cooperative efforts, he said, is key to enhancing crop productivity, increasing farmers’ incomes and ensuring their overall prosperity.

The visit was attended by IFFCO Managing Director K. J. Patel, Director (CRS) Birinder Singh, IFFCO–NanoVentions Managing Director Arunachalam Lakshman, members of the NanoVentions board, Head of IFFCO Kalol Nano Plant P. K. Singh, all State Marketing Heads and senior IFFCO officials.

The visit reaffirmed IFFCO’s commitment to cooperative-led innovation, farmer-centric research and the national goal of sustainable and prosperous agriculture.
