Sanghani & Patel greet members on IFFCO’s 58th Foundation Day

IFFCO Chairman Dileep Sanghani and Managing Director K. J. Patel extended warm greetings to all farmers, cooperative members, and employees on the organisation’s 58th Foundation Day. Both leaders expressed gratitude to the vast IFFCO family for their dedication and contribution to India’s cooperative and agricultural growth.

Talking to the Indian Cooperative from Tirupati, Chairman Dileep Sanghani said that IFFCO’s journey of nearly six decades reflects the strength of cooperation, innovation, and faith in the farmer.

“IFFCO was born from the dream of empowering farmers through unity and self-reliance, and today, that vision stands fulfilled in every corner of rural India,” he said. Sanghani added that IFFCO has always combined technology with tradition, ensuring that modern science serves the needs of the soil and the farmer.

“Our mission is not just to produce fertilisers, but to cultivate prosperity. From introducing digital solutions to pioneering nano fertilisers, IFFCO continues to redefine agricultural progress. As we look to the future, our goal is clear — to make Indian agriculture more sustainable, productive, and globally competitive,” he remarked.

He also thanked the cooperative members and employees for their tireless efforts in making IFFCO one of the most trusted names in the world of agriculture.

MD K. J. Patel, in his message, reaffirmed that IFFCO has always been devoted to the service of Indian farmers and the agricultural sector. He said that with next-generation nano-technology products, IFFCO is leading a new revolution in farming.

Patel noted that IFFCO’s nano fertilisers — Nano Urea, Nano DAP, and Nano Copper — offer higher nutrition, better yield, and improved quality while reducing input costs and environmental impact. He emphasised that IFFCO’s vast cooperative network not only empowers farmers but also inspires rural producers to embrace development, innovation, and self-reliance.

Founded on November 3, 1967, IFFCO began as a bold cooperative initiative with 57 member societies and has grown into one of the world’s largest cooperatives, representing over 36,000 societies and serving more than five crore farmers. Its manufacturing plants at Kalol, Kandla, Aonla, Phulpur, and Paradeep are recognised for high efficiency, reliability, and eco-friendly operations.

Over the years, IFFCO has expanded beyond fertilisers into digital commerce, rural finance, renewable energy, and farmer welfare. Through initiatives such as IFFCO Bazar and digital advisory platforms, it has made agri-inputs, information, and innovation accessible to millions.

Consistently winning national and international awards for cooperative excellence, sustainability, and technological innovation, IFFCO continues to embody the spirit of “Jai Kisan, Jai Sahkar.” On its 58th Foundation Day, IFFCO renews its pledge to empower every farmer and lead Indian agriculture toward a smarter, greener, and self-reliant future.
